Not sure if I should write all my metadata details here for security reasons but I would be grateful if you could help me with this:)
I’m writing to request a metadata correction for two releases an EP released today 30/01/2026 and an LP due to release on 01/02/2026. I am the sole artist / composer / writer / programmer for this project.
Issue:
In the contributor credits (composer, writer, and programming), my name appears to include my middle name.
I would like the middle name removed so that all contributor credits appear consistently as my main artist name.
This correction applies to both releases. The main artist name is correct and should not be changed.
Additionally, the incorrect contributor name has resulted in a separate Spotify artist profile being created.
I would like to request Spotify to:
- Merge or remove the secondary profile
- Ensure all content is mapped to the correct artist profile
For the upcoming album, I would appreciate it if the correction could be applied prior to release.
