I’m just planning a new release and I’m wondering about the timespans:
When I activate Spotify pitching, the first release date “for free” is shown in the calendar for May 9th…???
but when I click on May 9th, I even have to pay??
Can you please explain this?
Why has Spotify pitching such an impact?
…normal release time is around 5 days, I thought?
If I pitch one week in advance (what is sufficient according to other musicians, it should be fine for April 25t., I thought?
→ If possible, I would like to get it released on May 9th of course because it was shown as a possible release date…
I already released a track and changed yesterday the artist setting for the new Release to “already have a Spotify account” → was it too late or OK?
I’m waiting for my artist ID from Apple Music (where my first release is also available since March) → can I edit this the next days?
→ I think it would be much better and avoid user mistakes, if your GUI insists on entering a value by the user instead of inputting “I dont have an account” by default for the artis setting…!!
Hey @Robbey, as for today the 23rd og April, the 9th of May is within two weeks and it falls under the faster delivery.
I think it might have been a technical error or just a temporary one, as our system updates accordingly to what the user is selecting. We need to check on this better and if you could create a new release and try again would be great.
Hey @Robbey, if you wish for a faster reply you can deifnitely subscribe to our paid plans, which includes email support.
