When I search for any artist name on YouTube – not just popular ones, but also the unknown local bands/artists I know, who release music via other distributors – their names come up in the pop-up search results with a small avatar and a brief description of who they are (music artist / singer-songwriter / band / etc). See the screenshots, please. However, when I type the names of my music projects, the music of which I release via iMusician, nothing comes up. That’s quite a professional detail. How can we fix that?
Actually, it’s the same with Google results, when I type the names of my projects released via iMusician. If I type the names of the local artists I know, proper info comes up, alongside the list of their albums and singles. It used to be the same with my projects’ names when I previously released my stuff via other distributors. But now that I’m with iMusician, if I type my name – there’s absolutely nothing in Google/YouTube search results.
It’s not possible to “fix” that since it’s not a issue, it’s just a matter of referencing which is independent from our role as a distributor. Whether or not your artist name has good SEO value doesn’t depend on iMusician.
