Thank you, Mélanie, for your reply. However, and once again, I am not getting a clear answer. As I’ve explained, I am a Deezer user myself, and I never receive pre-saves, nor am I subscribed to any pre-saves. When one of my favorite bands releases a new album or track, I simply get a notification directly inside my Deezer app to let me know so I can download the new release right away. This has nothing to do with pre-sales, pre-selection, or anything of the sort. This isn’t the first time I’ve been given this whole “pre-save” explanation, but once again, that is not what this is about.
On the other hand, you tell me—just like some of your colleagues have—that it’s up to the user to set this up from their app. Again, as a Deezer user and having checked with friends who use other platforms, once you add a band to your favorites, you never receive a pre-sale or pre-release notification—simply a notification for the actual new release.
I really wish my request could be properly understood, because I don’t see why it works for other bands and not for me. I just want my fans to be notified the exact moment my new album or track is available on the platforms. Thank you all for your support and for taking the time to read my message.
