I’m new to Imusician, and i have two questions that i would like to resolve.
The first is that i want to release electronic music through stores like Beatport or Tracksource, so I’ve read that i need to register a custom label.
I’m an Amplify + user, but my idea would be to register a label and pay a one-time fee to be able to use it regardless of my Imusician subscription.
Could you tell me the steps to follow to manage it?
Another question, during these last few years, i have released music through another distributor, and i would like to remove those releases from the stores, to re-release them with Imusician, so that they are online forever.
If for example, i remove from the stores an album released with another distributor on; January 10, 2021, could i re-release it again with Imusician, with the original date; January 10, 2021?
@Carlos So if i understand correctly, i have to set up a release and send it (I select my custom label name in the process) and then contact you?
I understand that stores like Beatport take a month to register new labels, so if i want to schedule a release for example in two weeks, if i don’t have my label registered yet, and i still have to go through the following steps, wouldn’t that delay the release at least on Beatport or Tracksource?
I thought the procedure would be to go through all the steps to have my label ready and registered, and then schedule the release of the music.
If I’m wrong, I appreciate all the information you can provide me.
→ No you can just create the label without sending the release (create a new release and under the field “Label”, simply enter your label name and confirm). Once you’ve created the label on your dashboard, please get back to me and I’ll let you know about the next steps.

→ That’s correct. If we submit a release to Beatport & Traxsource while your label is not registered, they will simply reject the release. You want to register your label first, get a confirmation that it’s ok on Beatport & Traxsource’s side and only then, submit the release.
