AI Content Label applied by mistake on YouTube Topic channel (but Audio is 100% human created on FL Studio)

Hello everyone,

I recently released my new Synthwave single “Stardust” (Artist name: KTK-84). I noticed that YouTube automatically applied the “Created with AI / Créé avec l’IA” label to the automated Topic video generated by iMusician.

While the background artwork/visuals did use AI tools during the creation process, the audio track itself is 100% composed and produced by me using FL Studio. No AI, voice cloning, or synthetic music generation tools were used for the audio (only synths and FX VSTs).

This label is falsely implying to my listeners that the music itself is AI-generated.

Could you please let me know how to properly separate the artwork origin from the audio origin so my music doesn’t get mislabeled as AI ?

Thank you very much for your help!

KTK-84

Hello @studio22, thank you for reporting this.

Unfortunately, such labels are applied by YouTube themselves, based on their own guidelines and policies. As a distributor we do not have control over this I’m afraid.

Whilst we understand that this may be inconvenient (especially considering that your music wasn’t AI-generated) YouTube makes it clear that “When content is undisclosed, in some cases, YouTube may take action to reduce the risk of harm to viewers by proactively applying a label that creators will not have the option to remove.”

Kind regards,
