I represent a French label based in Paris, Indelible Records, which has its own recording studio located in Normandy.
Our releases had been distributed since 2008 by the French company BELIEVE, which has become the world’s number one. However, BELIEVE has changed its strategy and this summer removed hundreds of small independent labels from its distribution catalog to focus on developing as a white-label distributor for service providers. They are transferring smaller independent labels and artists to their American subsidiary, TuneCore, so that they pay TuneCore upon release, in addition to the commissions they already received on the release of their albums, EPs, and singles.
I refused this one-sided offer and am looking for a new digital distributor to re-release, as soon as possible, four albums, two EPs, and several singles, including one single released in Dolby Atmos.
All the works produced and published by my label, along with their metadata, are stored with my friends at Bridge Audio, which should allow for a very quick transfer of the master files and metadata.
As the head of a music label (commercial company), I am interested in your Amplify Pro label offer, but I would like to know beforehand if there is a way for you to automatically retrieve the WAV files of albums from Bridge Audio along with their metadata (rights holders, ISRC, and lyrics).
