I’m here to kindly ask for the removal of some music from my profile.
My artist name is Perso and I’m not an user of Imusician and I have never distributed music on this plataform, but there is another artist wich is also using the name Perso and his music is being distributed by this plataform
The problem is that his music is all over my profiles (beatport, youtube, Apple Music, deezer, etc) and that is very bad for my business, especially because his music style is completely different from mine and is misleading my audience.
I have already tryied the streamings support, but all of them redirected me to talk with the distributor, so here I am.
I have the legal registration of the artistic name “Perso” and I can provide the documentation if needed, but my goal here is not to make him change de artistic name, I just want all of his music removed from my profiles.

Hey @Perso133, this can be resolved via the stores directly, if you already have access to the artist profile (e.g. on Spotify for Artists). On our end, we cannot take any action unless the request comes from our artist, I’m sorry.
Some stores, like spotify and amazon for example, do have speciffics channels to solve this kind of problem, but other stores, like beatport, don’t give any kind of support for this situation, the only answer they give is that I should get in toutch with the responsible distributor.
I have already tried to talk to your artist, but he hasn’t been so responsive to solve this, despite his career beeing harmed aswell.
Is there any other way that you can help me with this? Pherhaps if the distributor could get in touch with him and ask to verify all the Artist ID’s on the stores he has released music?
I’ve been doing everything possible on my side to correct this, but every plataform has a different burocracy for this and ends up bringing me to talk with the responsible distributor.
I really hope we can solve this and I’d be glad to have a follow up on the situation.
