Artist namee

Hi,

I want to release new music, but I’d like my songs to go to a new artist profile on Spotify. The platform won’t let me choose the artist name because it says the artist already exists. I want to use the same name, but have the release go to a completely new profile instead of the old one.

I only had one release on that previous profile. Is there any way to delete the old artist profile so I can reuse the name for a new one? Or is there a way to make my new songs go to a different profile even if I select the same artist name, instead of linking them to the existing one?

I’im not sure I understand what you’re trying to do. Why would you want to create a different profile for the exact same artist name? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Because i want to start all over again. Is it possible?

What exactly do you want to “start all over again” whilst keeping the same artist name? Sorry this is really not clear.

I want to start with a completely new profile, but using the same artist name. If necessary, I have no problem deleting the old profile.
