Beatport Distribution related Qs

I have 3 questions regarding imusician/Beatport:

  • what happens to tracks released on beatport once subscription to imusician runs out?

  • is Beatport Hype available, if so which plan qualifys?

  • I have seen on other distribution platforms that at 100% master/publishing controls they distribute the 8% mechanical from beatport directly to the artist, does imusician act like that too?

  1. Nothing, they stay on Beatport :+1:
  2. Beatport Hype is a promotional service you can subscribe to directly via Beatport. You can take a look at their dedicated FAQs for more info: https://labelsupport.beatport.com/hc/en-us/sections/4410169012884-Hype-FAQ
  3. We pay out the amounts that are communicated to us by Beatport in the sales reports they send us every month (the percentage that represents is up to them). On our end, unless you’re on the Starter plan, you will receive 100% of that amount.
