Cambiar nombre de artista

Hola, Soy del duo Basso, y quisiera saber como puedo cambiar el nombre de artista, para que mis proximas publicaciones en spotify y junto con el canal de youtube, tenga el nuevo nombre de artista, no el anterior. se que se puede hacer a traves de la distribuidora digital. gracias.

Hey @DiBasso,

Unfortunately it’s not possible to change your artist name, at least not on the releases that are already live on the streaming platforms.

If you wish to change your artist name and apply this change to your catalogue, you will have to request a takedown of all your releases and recreate them with the new artist name & new ISRC codes (which means that you will lose your previous streams).

If however you simply want to change your artist name without involving your previous releases, all you need to do is create your new releases using the new artist name :slight_smile:

y al hacer lanzamientos con el nuevo nombre de artista, se sincronizara con el canal de youtube que habia solicitado anteriormente con la disquera, y por consiguente se subirán junto con los anteriores lanzamientos? o serán cosas diferentes?, mas que nada mi idea es que todo esté en un mismo lugar aunque los nombres sean diferentes por el tema de las visualizaciones y seguidores que ya tiene los canales.

No, the YouTube channel will also be different (a new one will be created for your new artist name).

I understand that you would like to preserve everything in one place, but I’m afraid that won’t be possible considering how the streaming platforms work :confused:

y una ultima pregunta porfavor, ya entonces, hago un lanzamiento con el nuevo nombre de artista y se crea un nuevo canal de youtube, es posible pedir que los nuevos lanzamientos de artista se suban al canal original de youtube? con el nuevo nombre de artista en las canciones pero en el canal de artista que le habĂ­a solicitado anteriormente a la disquera, o ver si el nuevo canal de yotube tenga las mismas caracteriscas como canal de artista q se tenĂ­a anterior? agradecerĂ­a su respuesta!!!

No, the releases will be uploaded on the corresponding artist channel only. If you have a new artist name, your releases will only be uploaded on your new artist profile.
