Cant delete a release

I recently sent my music and it was succesfully delivered to Imusician. But the next day, i just found out that the songs had an error in the audio cropping that made it end 30 seconds too early.

I tried to reupload my music but Imusician just won’t let me. So i just decided to delete my release instead.

I first pressed the “take down” button, but after that, no confirmation emails popped up, no nothing. So then i pressed the “edit” button, but when i pressed it, it won’t delete the release no matter how many times i pressed it.

I am also sure that i am supposed to receive a refund since its only been a day since i ordered the distribution, but i have not received any emails about any refunds whatsoever.

Now my release’s status is currently on “open” and i just want to delete that release and get my refund.

Did you know that you can request modifications to your release without having to delete it? :slight_smile:

You can never delete paid releases from your dashboard as they are permanently linked to transactional data (i.e. an invoice) which cannot be deleted.

I’ve refunded the 20$ in promo credit which you can use to restart the release whenever you’ve fixed the audio file issue :+1:
