Clarification on Release Status of "Digital French Kiss"

Dear iMusician Support Team,

I recently submitted my track “Digital French Kiss” for distribution through iMusician. I understand that there were concerns regarding the use of a sample from “Love Sensation” by Loleatta Holloway, and I have been in the process of securing the necessary rights.

I have noticed that my track has already been published on YouTube Music, but it is not available on other platforms. Could you please clarify the current status of my release? Specifically:

  1. Has the sample clearance been approved by the rights holder, allowing distribution on YouTube Music?
  2. If so, why has the track not been distributed to other platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, etc.?
  3. Is there any further action required on my end to ensure full distribution?

I would appreciate any information you can provide so I can resolve this matter as soon as possible. Looking forward to your response.

Hey @TheKFD, thank you for reporting this! This was actually an error from our end, the release shouldn’t have been uploaded to YouTube. I’ve forwarded this to our team and they’ll take care of the takedown asap.

On your end, there is no further action required apart from getting the required licenses to use the sample. Once you’ve done that, please get back to us and we’ll re-examine your order :slight_smile:
