[COMMUNITY HUB] Let’s bring this forum to life! 🚀 (Feedback, Promo & Artist Talk)

Hi everyone, Luka here!
I’ve been spending some time on the forum lately, and while it’s a great place for technical support and distribution questions, I feel like we’re missing the most important part: The Artists.
Most of us come here, solve a technical issue, and leave. But what if we made this a real community? A place where we actually talk about our music, our struggles, and our wins?
I’m starting this thread to act as an “Artist Lounge”. :guitar:
I’d love for this to become a space where we can:
Share Feedback: Post a snippet of a track you’re working on.
Discuss Promotion: What’s working for you on Spotify or TikTok right now?
Collaborate: Find other producers or singers within the iMusician family.
Talk Gear & Tech: Beyond distribution, what are your favorite VSTs or studio tips?
To get things started, let’s introduce ourselves properly:
What’s your artist name and your main genre?
What is the #1 goal you’re working on this month? (A release? A mix? A tour?)
What’s one thing you’d like to see more of here on the forum?
I’ll be active here to reply to everyone. Let’s stop being “ghosts” and start being a community! :musical_keyboard::sparkles:
Can’t wait to hear from you all,
Luka

To kick things off, I’ll start! :guitar:

1. About me: I’m Tomasi Luka, and I’ve been making music for a while now, navigating between different styles and focusing on high-quality production.

2. My #1 Goal this month: I’m currently working on my next release strategy. I want to make sure my music doesn’t just “sit” on platforms, but actually reaches new ears. :headphones:

3. One thing I’ve noticed (The ‘18-Month Rule’): I’ve been thinking about a question lately: How do you keep a release alive after the first month?

Personally, I’ve realized that a track’s life doesn’t stop at 4 weeks. After 18 months of trial and error, I’ve learned that consistent engagement and “recycling” your content (re-using stems for Reels/TikTok, or creating acoustic versions later on) is the only way to beat the ‘ghost forum’ vibe in the real world. You have to be your own biggest fan for the long run!

What about you guys? Are you planning for the long term or focusing on the ‘Big Day’ of the release?
