Confirmation Needed for a 13-Track Chinese Album via Rockstar to Apple Music / iTunes

Hello iMusician team,

I am considering using the Rockstar pay-per-release plan to distribute a 13-track Chinese album.

Before I make the payment, I would like to confirm the following:

  1. Can 13 tracks be uploaded as one Album release?
  2. Will this 13-track Album count as one single release under Rockstar, with one one-time fee?
  3. Does Rockstar have any limit on artist profiles or the number of main artists?
  4. If the Release Artist is one band name, but the Track Artists are different singers, is this allowed under Rockstar?
  5. Do you fully support Traditional Chinese metadata for Apple Music / iTunes?
  6. Can the Chinese album title, Chinese artist name, and Chinese track titles be displayed in their original Chinese form on Apple Music / iTunes?
  7. If metadata localisation is used, are transliterated titles mandatory?
  8. Which fields require transliterated titles: album title, artist name, track title, or only track titles?
  9. If I need to correct Chinese metadata later, will it be treated as a new release and charged again?
  10. If I take the release down and upload a corrected version again, will I need to pay the Rockstar fee again?

My key concern is to ensure that a release with Chinese album title, Chinese artist name, and Chinese track titles can be delivered properly to Apple Music / iTunes.

  4. If this is meant to be a release by a band, then only the name of the band should be entered in the metadata, even at track level. If it’s meant to be a compilation, all artists must be credited at release level.
  5. Yes, as long as they’re provided correctly (refer to this guide for more info).

  7. If you want your titles to be localised, yes we need the transliterated titles.
  8. Album title, artist name and track title
  9. No you can still make certain modifications after the release is live (more info here).
