Merci d’avance.
Hello there,
My question concerns a release whose status is delivered with the release date for September 27. I have requested the YouTube CID for all the tracks, one of which is currently grayed out. Is this normal at the moment, or do I need to anticipate a problem?
This is the first publication of these tracks, so there’s no blockage due to an old distributor.
I’m very confused because it’s a 14-minute original composition that doesn’t contain any commercially available melodic loops or comparable which could explain this kind of result. I think the algorithm is screwed up. As many of my previous compositions, which have all been approved for CID, there’s a lot of ambient sound, some recreated with analog synthesizers and/or mixed with wind loops maybe that’s the problem, but still the algorithm is screwed up.
Can you “force” the CID or file an appeal or can I file an appeal on my side?
If not, no problem, but please answer me on this point anyway.
I understand what you’re saying but unfortunately no, this cannot be “forced”. The fact that your track contains this much similarity with already monetized tracks (even if that’s not intentional from you) makes it ineligible to the CID monetization.
