Copyright blocking my own content

Hey i paid for Youtube content ID for my album “hungry for attention”

i have a youtube channel on my own, and previously i asked here, “why didn’t my videos get copyright claimed?”
Surely that extra 1$ per song should mean something?

What should’ve happened was; i upload my video, i get copyright claim, which is normal, the video shouldn’t be blocked, i should still have freedom to use it. which not exactly what happened.
What did happened is; 0 videos got copyright claimed

the admin here said they will do something about it
3 music videos got copyright claimed now (good), the rest, no luck. (no good)

now for the new problem:
this week i received 2 copyright BLOCKING my promotional short video.
2 of those videos are now DOWN because of the copyright.
this is important because i want to know if my music videos is also going to be affected or not.
especially that it’s a copyright + BLOCK

Respectfully, i want to know what the heck is going on. what can we do?

It is in my best interest to keep working with this service but it leaves me nothing but bad experience. Please collaborate at least for this time. Thank you.

Hey @kira, thanks for reaching out. Content ID monetization can be a bit tricky to understand when you’re starting out, but don’t worry there’s no need to panic

That may be due to the fact that your videos were uploaded before your release was distributed by us and the CID was activated. In order for CID to work, the Art Track must be uploaded by YouTube before you upload your own videos. Any content that was published before the official release will not be detected by the algorithm.

Yep, because your Shorts are over 60 seconds long, which is prohibited when it contains copyrighted content (it’s clearly specified in the claim message you shared). Please edit your Short and make sure it doesn’t exceed 60 seconds in duration.

hello, i understand.
the shorts getting blocked is because of the duration and not because of the service here. thank you for the clarification.

about the first statement, I’m really sure i uploaded all of my Videos after the release date on 21 February 2026.
The songs was already released.
The tracks is already on youtube library.

then i uploaded my MVs

and then i realise none of my MVs got copyrighted

and then i posted my problem here. and i did see some change!

3 of my MVs got copyrighted claimed after that.
the other 6, no luck. :frowning:

anyway. i don’t really know if it’s really worth to complain about it at this point. i just wanted to know if imusician 's cid system works or not, how difficult is it to fix problems like this, and is it worth to consider working with imusician in the future or not.

sorry for the trouble.
thanks for the reply.
