Distribution only to Apple Music

Hello,

I have a classical album already distributed by CD Baby. Unfortunately, CD Baby cannot deliver it to Apple Music and Apple Music Classical due to classical metadata limitations.

I would like to distribute the exact same album through iMusician only to Apple Music and Apple Music Classical, while keeping CD Baby as the distributor for all other stores.

I plan to use the same UPC and the same ISRCs.

Is this supported, and are there any specific steps I should follow to avoid duplicate deliveries or conflicts?

Yes that’s possible. You just need to make sure that CD Baby don’t distribute the release on Apple at the same time as us, but that’s not likely based on what you’re saying.
