For our CD pressing of the album we got an EAN code from Imusician. Does it work to use a barcode generator from: Kostenloser Online Barcode Generator: EAN-13 to get our Barcode for the album cover?

hi @Fabiana , the EAN code provided by iMusician is not related to the CD as you can see here:

you should contact the CD pressing company for that I guess :v:

thank you so much. Does that mean that the EAN number that Imusicians provides is not the same i would put on the CD-cover in form of a generated E13-barcode?

Hey @Fabiana,

That’s correct, the EAN that we provide can only be used for digital distribution. Ideally, you should request a new barcode to your physical distributor, they are generally the ones that should take care of this :slight_smile:
