Hello everyone, I need some help please.
I would like to completely delete my iMusician account, all my albums, songs and EPs, as well as my personal (Alessandro Arzilli) and band (Hybrid Practice) profiles.
I tried many ways, but somehow my songs (especially my Instrumental solo album Musa, from 2019) keep showing up on Spotify.
This is a huge issue for me, because I am not free to use my own songs, as they keep being Copyright claimed by iMusician Digital and Spotify, on every social network.
Can anybody help me, please?
My goal is to delete everything that I have ever published through iMusician Digital and Spotify.
Thank you very much for your help.
You see? I retired my album and my songs from iMusician since Novembre 2023, but still can’t monetize anything because all the songs are copyright claimed by iMusician AG!
Please help, this is not fair at all! I want to completely delete all my songs and music from iMusician’s online catalog.
Can anybody please answer me?
Is there a way to talk to anybody to solve this issue?
It’s been more than a year now since I’ve cancelled my iMusician account and retired the online distribution, but still I can’t get monetization from my own music!
Thank you for answering me.
My ultimate goal is to completely delete every possible subscription, distribution plan, release and YouTube Content ID copyright that I might still have available with iMusician Digital.
I want, due to personal preferences, to have full monetization over my own songs, especially in my own YouTube channel.
I hope we can solve the issue, thanks.
Hello @AlessandroArzilli looks like the takedown didn’t work properly, sorry about that! I’ve relaunched the takedown request, it’ll be processed by all the stores within the next 4 weeks.
Thanks for answering me. After the takedown process will be completed, will I be able to monetize my own music on my own YouTube channel, without any copyright claim by iMusician?
I tried contacting iMusician by email and explained the problem, but oddly enough I received an answer informing me that I cannot have any support by email, since I didn’t opt for a dedicated paid plan (which is something I consider really unfair, but I’ll accept it anyway).
Yes, once the takedowns are processed and the CID are no longer active (up to 4 weeks), then we will no longer have any ties with your content and you’ll be able to monetize it as you please.
That’s correct. If you are not subscribed to one of our AMPLIFY subscription plans, you don’t have access to email support and you will be requested to follow the right contact procedure to reach out to us
Interesting, thanks for the details.
Also, considering my videos have been continuing to monetize during all the period of time starting from my account deletion and takedown request (November 2023) right until when my new takedown request will be finally fulfilled (approximately February 2025), will I be able to receive any sum and how?
Or maybe, all the monetized sums are going to be fully taken by iMusician itself, since I didn’t have anymore a personal account on iMusician, nor an AMPLIFY paid subscription to receive email support?
Thank you again
