Hello, I bought the rights to the music I distributed through iMusician from another artist.
Today I found out that this so called artist is a scammer and the actual music tracks were stolen from another artist who uses AI and licenses the music under CC0. I’ve been desperately trying to get the content taken down from Content ID as I’m aware that this is actively breaking copyright and YouTube’s TOS and I don’t want any of this to be associated to my artist name for any longer, could someone at iMusician please do it for me??
I’ve tried submitting the removal from Content ID a bunch of times but it seems it could take anywhere between 1 and 4 weeks. I just want to get it removed as soon as possible and to immediately stop associating with this content as it looks terrible on my reputation as if I tried to “steal” these public domain works. This is really stressing me out. Thank you
EDIT: by the way please don’t say my artist name on this page. My forum account email is the same as my normal dashboard account email. My artist name is V**… W**… and the album I want to take down is called T**… T**… S*… (those are the initials)
