I have an OAC on YouTube, yet iMusician distributed my new release to the "Release - Topic" channel

I already have an official artist channel on YouTube for more than a year and my previous releases were successfully merged from the “Release - Topic” channel to my official channel.

I just released new music via iMusician and I was surprised to find out that it was incorrectly distributed to the “Release - Topic” channel instead of my official artist channel.

My official artist channel: https://www.youtube.com/@PhaseControlDNB
The track which was wrongly listed under “Release - Topic”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKF79K06e_Y

The track doesn’t have Content ID included due to the license of the vocals that I used but as far as I know this isn’t a problem when it comes to linking it with my OAC. I can provide more info like EAN and ISRC if needed.

I hope this issue can be resolved by the iMusician support and if possible show me how to avoid such issues in the future.

Thank you.
Additionally, I found out that there is a tool provided by YouTube on my YouTube studio dashboard where the releases are. I tried using it today but I guess it’s too early to say if they will do the changes on their side

I see that YouTube already have the missing release added to my artist channel and opening the link on YouTube Music shows it correctly related to my channel. I don’t see the release showing under on the artist page on YouTube Music yet but maybe it’s a matter of time until this gets updated?

Hey @phasecontrol, everything looks good on our end. The track is assigned to your official artist channel/profile:

YouTube requires some time to update your music’s attribution, so in this case it was just a matter of waiting a little bit
