I released an album today under the name Noah Harrington, the album is called “Until the Season’s Over,” and it was supposed to release on all platforms. I only have the artist apps for Spotify, Amazon, and Apple Music. It has gone out on Spotify and Apple, but it’s not out on Amazon for some reason.
Hello @Nharrington
It can be that the release is not all at the same time. Each platforms has its own rules.
I tag the support of iMusician (@Maurizio and @Carlos) to confirm it.
An indie musician like you
Hi @A2D
I suppose that could be the case, but I have released 5 singles before this, all of which came out at the same time. I appreciate four feedback though, it could be the case.
Hey @Nharrington,
Your release is available on Amazon Music: https://music.amazon.fr/albums/B0DB633JM8
Hi @Carlos
That is a separate single of the same name as the album. It isn’t the same. The album is 9 songs
Hey @Nharrington,
Ah yes, sorry I didn’t catch that! Unfortunately the album was rejected by Amazon because of track n°9, which they didn’t accept. Sadly we don’t have much more info on this, but I can confirm you that it’s not possible to have this specific release on Amazon (basically, once they’ve rejected it, we cannot challenge their decision)
Hi @Carlos
In that case, what am I to do? Can I release it without that track?
Hey @Nharrington,
No because at this stage you cannot remove tracks from your release. You could technically take it down and recreate it without track n°9, but keep in mind that doing so will still not guarantee that Amazon will accept your release. The choice is up to you !
Hi @Carlos
Alright I’ll probably just leave it. It’s not too big of a deal. I appreciate you helping me out!
