Is Spotify Editorial Playlist Submission Available on Free Subscription Package?

If my song release date is 4 months from now, And I am submitting the song this month, do I have to pay for the amplify plus package this month for it to be eligible for Spotify Editorial Playlist, or can I pay a couple of weeks to the release date when it is time to submit for Spotify Editorial Playlist?
