Japanese artist-name localization needed before deliver

Hello,

I submitted my release “Xota De Pazos De Borbén” today, 17 September 2026, and it is currently in Quality Check.

My primary/international artist name is Yoko Takano.

For Japan, I would like my artist name to be localized as:

高野陽子

Could you please add this Japanese artist-name localization before the release is delivered to stores?

Primary/international artist name: Yoko Takano
Japanese localized artist name: 高野陽子
Release date: 5 October 2026

As the release has just been submitted and is still in Quality Check, I would greatly appreciate it if this could be handled as soon as possible.

Hello Carlos,
The Japanese localization is still not correct on most stores, including Spotify.
The correct Japanese artist name is 高野陽子, not 高野洋子, which is currently shown on the iMusician release page.
Please make sure that in Japan, the release is displayed as 高野陽子 and linked to my existing artist profiles.
Internationally, it should remain Yoko Takano and be linked to my existing Yoko Takano profiles.
Please also make sure that no duplicate artist profiles are created.

Please note that some existing services display my Japanese name as “高野 陽子” with a space.
“高野陽子” and “高野 陽子” are the same artist, but the correct Japanese artist name I would like to use consistently is:
高野陽子

Please make sure all of these existing profiles/catalogs are correctly associated with the same artist, 高野陽子 / Yoko Takano, and that no duplicate artist profiles are created.

Isn’t that the right one?

Understand that, once we’ve sent the localisation request, we don’t have any control over how the DSPs will actually display it down the line.
