Hello ! (sorry @FatTony, I’m still using this topic if it doesn’t bother you !)
I’ve noticed that there’s a huge drop on the iMusician analytics every sunday.
I know there’s always less streams on Sundays, but it’s still WAY (WAY !) lower on iMusician Analytics than on SpotifyForArtists.
For example :
Sunday April 12th :
- iMusician (Spotify) : 77
- SpotifyForArtists : 226
Sunday April 5th :
- iMusician (Spotify) : 14
- SpotifyForArtists : 64
I’ve noticed that there’s a difference (but less big) for the Saturdays numbers too.
Rest of the week, the numbers are kinda identical (with a 5/6 streams differences, but I guess you could explain it with Spotify adjusting the streams, etc…)

Hey @FloMatey honestly I couldn’t tell you since we don’t have access to further details regarding your trends or how they’re being calculated.
The only thing I can tell you is that we’re receiving this data from the shops with a delay of 4-5 days, so it could be related to this

Am very happy for you to use this discussion thread - keep it alive and raise visibility of the problem… although I don’t know there’s much iMusician can do about it, as they can only give us the data they receive from platforms - you’d think it would be the same data they use for reporting via their “for artists” reporting, but obviously not… I’d really like to see analytics from Tidal, but they don’t provide any data to iMusician (don’t know if they do for other distros).
I also noticed (after you pointed out) that stats for Sunday are typically under-reported, as I know people are streaming on that day, so am assuming it averages out over the week - in absence of visibility of the data, is impossible to confirm any rationale to it…
Hope all is working out for you and your music, despite feeling like a spider trying to swim through molasses…
