For the last few days (since 09Feb26) I am noticing the analytic data has stopped completely - it didn’t die down to 0, it just stopped. I assume this may be due to platforms/shops not posting the analytic data, so have “googled” that issue, yielding response “Spotify (et-al) have not suspended posting analytics to distributors”, so am wondering if there is any problem you are aware of.
Your trends are always provded to us with a slight delay (usually it’s 5 days). Can you please keep an eye on your dashboard for the next couple of days and get back to me if the issue persists?
Hey @FloMatey, ok that’s weird… I’ve nudged our team so they can take a closer look. It seems that there’s an issue with the graph view because if you look at the data table, your 92 streams are there:
Yes, no problem about it !
It’s just in your screenshot, the graph is “Spotify only” for every tracks, and in the data details, the 92 streams are counted for “all platforms” ?
This is what I changed in my screenshot, I selected ony “Spotify” on the graph and in the details numbers.
And the streams looks like they are missing in both parts for Spotify.
I just returned home (work trip, didn’t have internet), and see the analytics are back, but that period 9-12Feb is completely dead, not from lack of actual stream activity, as I know there were active listeners… Noting FloMatey had no streams over that period, am doubting the integrity of the data sent to you by platforms, and more users than use were probably affected…
I’m having, once again, weird stuff going on with my analytics.
Got lucky to be added on a big playlist last week, but for March 23rd, analytics said I just got 6 streams from Spotify (it was 300+ according to Spotify for Artists) and got back up the next day.
Hi FloMatey,
Did you also receive an unsolicited email saying “I like your song, I promote it”? This happened to me, and didn’t think much of it, was happy to see a bonus 500 streams appear, but they turned out to be bot-driven artificial streams that Spotify rejected 3 months later (when the analytics are conveniently unavailable), and slapped me for fraud… I hope the same is not happening to you…
I’m still noticing some randomness with analytics recently, taking notes to compare with how it reflects in revenue, but just have to accept they are unreliable in absence of any transparency from the platform - just wish Spotify didn’t have the monopoly of promotion…
