Hi. My release EAN 5054526618497 was scheduled for March 18. It’s still March 17 in LA where I live, but it’s not in the upcoming music section of my Spotify Artist page. Also, I checked my Apple Music artist pages in Australia and New Zealand, where it’s already March 18 at the moment of my writing, and the release is not there, either. If something went wrong, why did I not receive any warnings? The last email I got was that the release was on its way. And the iMusician status of that release is “Delivered”. So what’s wrong? Please explain.
hi @Rian it should be released within the 24h, please let us know if by the end of the day the release is online ![]()
Thank you, @Andi , I’ll let you know.
Hi there @Rian,
thanks for the heads up. I see your release got indeed stuck while being sent to the shops. I asked the delivery team to give it top prio so that it can be online asap.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi @Maurizio, thanks a lot for the push. The release can be seen now. I really appreciate that.
There’s another issue, though. This release - EAN 5054526618497, and the previous one - EAN 5054526911499, are both previously released material. As you can see from the attached screenshots, there were no unnecessary word capitalizations when this stuff was previously released. Why then did all the words get capitalized this time? The releases in question are in Armenian, and the linguistic rules of that language do not allow capitalization in the titles, apart from the first word in the phrase or special names (geographical or personal). Automatic capitalization of all the words in the title is disrespectful towards the established rules of that specific language. Is there any way to sort that and leave the titles just the way I submitted them? Ever mindful, like I said, all these tracks were already previously released without any unnecessary capitalization. And I assumed nothing would be different this time since I provided the same UPCs and ISRCs.
Hello @Rian just to understand better, do you see differences in the release uploaded with us?
I checked and the titles format and it seems right. Let me know please!
Best
Thanks for the reply, @Melani . There are unfortunately lots of differences in this release, as compared to the screenshots I attached in my previous reply (which is also how I submitted the titles for this release). I am attaching new screenshots with all the marked errors. The ones in yellow are Armenian words that are not supposed to be capitalised. The red one (there’s only one) is a Latin letter that should be capitalised (n > N). And the ones in blue are correctly capitalised geographical names that don’t need changing.
So, it’s only the yellow ones that need no capitalisation and the red one that does need capitalisation.
Additionally, the same goes for my previous release - EAN 5054526911499 (a single).
The second word in the title should not be capitalised.
It should be “Բարև, աղջիկս”, just like it was, when it was previously released. Not “Բարև, Աղջիկս”.
Can you please fix all of these errors? I’d really appreciate that.
Please see the attached screenshots:
- previously released - correct (2nd word not capitalised)
- currently released - incorrect (2nd word capitalised)
Dear iMusician team, it’s been a week since the release. Any chance the above-mentioned errors will get fixed?
Hey @Rian, our team is taking care of it. It should be fixed in the next 4-5 days ![]()
@Carlos thank you very much!
