Need duplicate charge refund: in California, where response is legally required

I was told to correct release information. When I clicked through and did so, it created a NEW release and charged me again.
How do I:

  • Get refund for first release, and delete it?
There is no payment support email, which is actually required legally here in California (BPC § 17538). Please respond.

The steps to correct your release information are clearly explained here @hrmeeting : What happens if my release fails the quality check? | iMusician

You manually re-created the release instead of following the steps and correcting your errors. Why?

PS: We’re a Swiss company, not Californian.

I did not recreate: I followed the steps and corrected the release. Your system created a new release. Looks like a bug.
As I had no way to reach customer support, and was urgently in need of a release, I approved the purchase created by the bug in the system.

Also, although you may be Swiss, you are subject to CA law if the customer is in CA. Criteria is “if you do business in California.”

I am also in this business, so I know what I am talking about here.

It identified more issues, described as “title” with no further information.
There is no “reason box” and ticking the boxes and continuing creates another new release.
Please have your engineering team address this bug.

Looks like the issues is that, when I click the boxes to address the issues:

  • drawer comes in the with next action being “Distribute”, which seems to be the next logical action since we are trying to distribute
  • this drawer covers the Submit button
  • If the drawer is closed, the issues are unchecked and Submit button is once again disabled.
  • It is therefore impossible to address the issues as described in the documentation, and the only next step offered is Distribute, which creates a new Release for some reason

Again: I am happy to resolve the issue, but the interface does not allow this, and does not match the documentation. Please assist in resolving this service that i have already paid for.
