I checked your releases and can see that the artist name is Spire. Please note that we are not able to assign releases to different names, as the artist name on the release must match.
Could you please explain us if you have these new profiles due to releases published with another distributor?
We are aware that Beatport is adding the nationalization (FR), when the artist name is already taken. If this is your case, you would need to create one separate release only selecting Beatport and using the artist name with nationalization.
First, thank you for your reply and you help !
The two new profiles were created by another distributor at my request because some of the releases were not mine on my Beatport and Spotify old profils.
I think the easiest way is to recreate a new imusician account / profile named Spire (FR) ?
And recreate a release that would go on my two new Spire (FR) profiles.
Hi @Spire , thanks for your patience! Well, the most important thing to acknowledge is that the metadata must always match on the release and online.
In this specific case and except for Beatport, we could not deliver a release including the artist name Spire and assign it on Spotify to the profile Spire (FR).
Beatport is different because it does not allow to have homonyms and therefore they suggest the use of the nationalization, as in your case (FR).
I understand that given some confusion and old procedure, you would like to have one artist name and this is totally acceptable. Since your Spire (FR) already exists, I also think the best idea would be to proceed with such name.
Therefore, your old release distributed by us where the name Spire is, must be taken down and released again under the name Spire (FR).
Please make sure to assign your profiles on your dashboard following these steps: Release On The Correct Artist Profile | iMusician.
