I am new to releasing on this platform… I am confused about a few things. When filling out the release form. there are 2 options to have my tracks for pitching with imusician and spotify. when I click both it now says because I did it with imusician i can’t pitch spotify. ok, so if you turn me down for the pitching for imusician. Why can’t I go back and add it to spotify pitching?
Another question I have is when I look at my release if it looks like youtube monetize is turned off even though it should be on because i even received an email about it
If your track is not selected for further pitching to editorial curators, you will receive an email from us and then you’ll have the option of pitching your track through Spotify for Artists. The only thing you should not do is make the SfA pitch while our team is still reviewing your tracks.
I’m saying that if your release is not accepted for our own pitching service (Editorial Playlist Pitching) then you will have the chance to pitch it yourself via Spotify for Artists
My friend i need some help… i am trying to upload my 3rd song… i keep getting stuck on upload… after I upload it says that Duplicate file detected. Please add the track from your library or verify if it’s associated with another account. i don’t understand what is happening… everything else is good but that. its not a duplicate file.
also after I get them set up where do I find my release dates for my different songs… thanks
Please clean up your library and delete all duplicated tracks. If you want to add a track from your library to your release, use the button Include from library rather than creating it again (that’s when you get the error message).
can you explain what’s going on here or am I doing something wrong… i had my artist page together with a bunch or photos… i thought I had more than 9… so when I send the link to someone there is 9 photos and like 5 are the same thing… when I go to my hub to see what’s happening there is only 8 and different ones are duplicated. these were all uploaded with different pics.
also another problem i am having… i am trying to make an a release page I fill out the form add my artwork and hit overview and it keep telling me the Ean number is wrong. i found the mean number and put it in… it doesn’t work. will I have a UPC number and Ean or just one… right now it only shows and Ean number… but it doesn’t work In the release page

other problem. I have 5 tracks scheduled to come out over the next month… i only see 2 that have the CID button highlighted. How do I get them on for youtube. I know I hit the buttons when I was uploading them.

I am trying to get my deezer page because is see many peoples tracks get listed as other peoples music. Deezer is asking for UPCs. where do I find that. all I see is EAN numbers.
what I am really confused about is when and how can does the tracks get released on youtube. if the CID button is highlight that means it can be monitored correct. So can I upload them to my channel? Will you release it on youtube music.
I have done searches for all of this and I can’t find the info anywhere.

You have requested the CID for all releases except Some Kind of Magic (4069493217780). If you want to change that, you must request a modification from your dashboard: Modifications After Delivery | iMusician
UPC and EAN are both the same thing (barcodes), the only difference is that EAN is the European standardised format. This is explained here: Barcodes and ISRC Codes | iMusician
