No takedown on Netease Music

No takedown on Netease Music after 3 months from request.

Since November 2025, I have been reporting a very serious issue: my album is published on NetEase Music with completely incorrect metadata, together with an artist page under my name that should not exist at all. On 2nd of Fecember 2025 I requested a takedown. After almost 80 emails and 3 months of waiting, the content is still online.
A simple takedown request turned into a Kafkaesque nightmare.
Despite more than 70 emails exchanged over several months, I am consistently forced to restate the same facts from scratch. There is no sense of case ownership, continuity, or attention to detail. Replies often appear disconnected from the actual situation and suggest that the case is being handled without any real understanding or internal communication.

The same release has beeen taken down from Netease twice last year with other distributors (due to other kind of issues), any problem occurred and it was taken down in less than one week.
Your internal technical and distribution issues are not my business.

This level of support is not acceptable for a paid, professional service, especially when the issue involves public distribution errors and ongoing reputational damage.

What I am asking is a simple TAKEDOWN of my music on EVERY platform.

As previously mentioned, we have already contacted NetEase multiple times regarding this release, including recent follow-ups. Unfortunately, this appears to be a known issue on their platform: even after takedown requests are processed, releases may remain visible on their side.

Based on our experience and on public discussions (like this one) from other users, this behavior depends on how NetEase manages catalog visibility internally, and it is not something we can directly control or accelerate from our end.

At this stage, I’m afraid we have done everything technically possible on our side regarding NetEase. Should we receive any further update from them, we will inform you immediately.

I am not an expert but I can assire you that what you are saying is completely incorrect. And I can show you why. My music is still on QQ MUSIC also, perfectly available. So you are just ignoring my case, copying the same email you sent me yeasterday, while you are not aware of anything about the distribution. And what about YouTube Music? Do they have the same problem? Because for three months no takedown was done also on YouTube Music despite many requests. I think it’s your system problem, not Netease Music or YouTube Music or QQMusic. So they all have the same issues??? Please, we’re adults, I am not accepting this kind of answers. You just copied the last e-mail and send it here. So do I need to sue your firm or you are doing something more than copy and paste the same things? :smiley:Can you show me other discussions about this “issue” at Netease, at QQ Music, and at YouTube Music. AND ALSO ABOUT QQMUSIC, because the music is still there. Just send me documents!!! Because what you sent me it’s not enough and they are speaking about tracks REMOVED, not tracks that are still there after takedown. I think you are completely unaware of my distribution. You just donne know if my music is still online or not. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND HIGHLY UNOROFESSIONAL. I AM DOING YOUR JOB SEARCHING ONLINE WHERE MY PUBBLICATION IS STILL THERE. AND TOU ARE JUST COPY AND PASTE THE SAME ANSWERS AFTER 4 MONTHS OF DISCOMFORT AND TIME LOSS ON MY SIDE. You can read the 80 emails I had with your service to understand you are not in control of your own job.
I am just warning your firm, I am collecting documents to start a procedure with my lawyer. If you continue to give me generic copy and paste answers while the music is still online I’ll be compelled to sue your firm and, trust me, I have all the proofs that you are not in good faith, especially censuring my bad review online on Trustpilot and with this kind of answers you are perfectly stating your completely unawareness of the situation of my distribution.
