Hi again dear community
I read about a pre-save link for upcoming releases and I can tell it has great benefits.
Was wondeirng if you can spare more light on this topic. Can I evolve apre-save link from the imusician platform ? can I do this without a subscription too ?
I would be happy to have fans ‘follow’ me before the track is even out and wonder if its even possible if it is a very first release we are talking about ? or shall it be possible only after my artist as well goes public ?
ok so by now I subscribed to AMPLIFY as well as I thought it would allow me the pre-save option.
Im a bit confused though.
I got 1 upcomming releases planned one for 25.10 and one for 1.11
both pre-save option seem a bit different Im adding screenshorts.
The ‘Optica’ EP is planned for 25.10 where there seem to be missing ‘shop link’ (?)
but the ‘Unterschrift’ signle on the 1.11 seems just right.
would you say I can post these links already ?
is it possible the ‘Optica’ link is still not distributed to the other shops so I better wait a few more days for it to update ? although its a bit strange cause I distributed it earlier then I did the ‘Unterschrift’ single.
any tipps are welcome!
Ok I hope someone will be able to catch this I ran a bit ahead and tried a few attempts with friends.
So the pre-save link in this case is a bit tricky and maybe not that efficient. When my friends clikc it it forwards them to Spotify Web based to log in and then it tells them they do not have an account - I assume because they do not have an iMusician account, but they do indeed have a Spotify account for sure - is it because the artist page is not yet publicly on Spotify ? (going to Spotify app right now and looking up Uzimoto by the search bar - do not result in finding it yet… only a URL link lead to the artist page) . if so - when does teh artist page apear publicly for a brand new artist with no tracks out yet ?
attaching the message that I get after clicking the pre-save button (as a iMusician account owner)
Presave links only are possible on the music platforms allowing it, currently Spotify allows it. As soon as your release will be online your iMusician release page is automatically uptated with the final links for all platforms you selected.
I tag the iMusician support @Maurizio and @Carlos to give you more info about your case.
The Pre-Save links (available only with Spotify & Deezer) allow your listeners to log into their accounts and “pre-save” your music before it goes live. Of course, if they dont have a Spotify/Deezer account yet or don’t know their login credentials, then they won’t be able to pre-save the release.
You won’t find the release in the Spotify/Deezer searchbar because it’s not available yet.The message you’ve shared is a confirmation that you (or whoever clicked the link) successfully logged into Spotify and the once the release goes live, it will appear automatically in your Library.
thanks Carlos!
so if I understand correctly - a pre-save link is only involved in a web-based level ? it wouldn’t transfer to Spotify app for a pre-save ?
and could oyu explain the ways of sharing a pre-save link just to be sure I do it right then ?
thanks
yet still I don’t understand why does my release on the 15.11 already show a preview much richer in platforms while the upcoming one on the 25.10 is lacking them.
I just want to be 100% I didn’t miss on anything while sending to distribute. If you think so - I can contact iMusician team directly as I am now with an AMPLIFY account (by the way )
Please refer to the screenshots again:
This is when I click to customize the release:
I have to wonder why does pre-save is not possible on the other platforms distributed to if that was no mistake from my side and just an error ?
I got asked from friends who use Apple Music about pre-saving there too - can you help on this matter ?
thank you
