Hello,
I purchased the Rockstar plan and also paid an extra €30 for Priority Delivery (2–4 business days).
My release “Love and Music” (DJ Cianppy Feat. Gina C) was uploaded on November 20th, and since November 21st I only see the status “Delivered”.
However, the track is still NOT live on any platform (Spotify, Apple Music, Beatport, etc.), and I have not received any update from the team.
I also received a message saying my track was not selected by your Playlist Team, even though the Rockstar plan includes editorial playlist pitching.
At this point I urgently need: Confirmation that my release has actually been delivered to ALL platforms An explanation for the delay despite Priority Delivery An estimated date of when my track will go live Verification that Rockstar benefits are correctly active on my account
I need my release to be live before December 15th, so this delay is very concerning.
Thank you in advance for your help — I simply need clear information about the current status of the release.
Well, considering that the release date is set to 15.12.2025 and today is 01.12.2025, that’s pretty normal. There’s no reason for your release to go live before it is supposed to
Thanks for your reply. I understand that the public release date is set to 15.12.2025 and that the track will not go live on streaming stores before that date.
However, my concern is different: in order to be eligible for editorial pitching (Spotify for Editors, Apple, Beatport, etc.), the track must already be delivered to the platforms’ systems and visible in their backend well in advance of the release date.
I paid for Priority Delivery precisely to make sure the track is delivered to the DSPs as early as possible for pitching consideration.
Could you please confirm:
Has my track already been delivered to all selected stores (especially Spotify & Beatport)?
Is it currently visible in the Spotify backend (Spotify for Artists / editorial system) for pitching?
If not yet, when is the guaranteed delivery to these platforms expected?
This clarification is very important for my promo planning.
Thanks in advance.
I checked with our team and there’s an issue with the titles on tracks 1 & 2.
You named track n°1 Love And Music and then track n°2 Love And Music (Original Mix), however that’s essentially the same thing (i.e. not adding a version info implies that it is the original mix).
Could you tell me what’s the difference between those two tracks please?
The three tracks are actually three different masters for different purposes, not duplicates:
• Love and Music → Streaming / Radio Edit master (shorter version for Spotify, Apple Music, etc.)
• Love and Music (Original Mix) → Club/DJ version for Beatport (different mastering and dynamics)
• Love and Music (Extended Mix) → Extended DJ version for Beatport
I used “Love and Music” without a version tag because this is the streaming master, not the Beatport version.
If needed, you can rename them as:
• Love and Music (Streaming Edit)
• Love and Music (Original Mix)
• Love and Music (Extended Mix)
Please confirm if this resolves the issue so the release can now be sent to the platforms as scheduled.
Please send an invitation for Spotify for Artists to the email address below so I can claim and manage the DJ Cianppy profile (necessary to pitch the release).
If you cannot invite, please confirm that the release is visible in Spotify’s backend (the internal system) and provide the Spotify UPC/ISRC records used for the delivery.
Artist: DJ Cianppy
Release: Love and Music (feat. Gina C)
This is time-sensitive for editorial pitching. Please confirm ASAP and, if needed, escalate to Artist Relations.
For the original version, don’t put anything. Then, for alternative versions (remasters, radio edit, extended version, etc.) just name them accordingly.
Hi Carlos,
Thanks for the link.
I already know the way to pitch the track.
When I created my order, I enabled Spotify pitching. And I paid for Priority Delivery to make sure the track is delivered to the DSPs as early as possible for pitching consideration.
But you took 12 days to deliver the release.
Before pitching my track I have to claim my artist profile and it is not available yet.
Summarizing, your delay in delivering the release will prevent me from making pitching.
As you can understand I’m quite disappointed.
The time needed to release your music will depend on […] The quality of your release and its metadata. If your release fails the quality check, we will have to postpone the delivery until your content meets the streaming platforms requirements.
As the metadata you provided failed the quality check, the delivery had to be postponed. I understand you’re disappointed, but it’s our priority to make sure your metadata complies with the DSPs guidelines.
