Questions about release takedown and republishing under different artist name

HI,

I recently changed my artist name to Haydn Alexander, I’ve released a single titled “a New Gentle World” [EAN 4069493904772] under the name RΛYN.

I’ve issued a takedown request for this release so I can republish it under the new name through another iMusician account. I recently learnt if a release has been issued a takedown request, and the release hasn’t been in stores for more than 12 months, a fee may apply. I didn’t realise this and I issued the request, I was wondering how much that fee may be, and if so if its possible to revert that change.

I was also wondering if its possible to change artist name within one account, I’ve already made the new account but figured out you can add multiple artists, so is that just for collaborations or can I main a new artist?

I am truly sorry for this inconvenience and for my stupidity, I was hoping to upgrade to the Amplify plan on the new account once the release was taken down, for when I re-release my single.

A fee won’t apply in your case. This policy applies mostly to specific/fraudulent cases.

You don’t need to create a new account to change your artist name. We recommend managing your distribution from one single account.
