Questions in my head according to my past experiences

I distributed classical genre with some other distributors in the past and I am not happy with the service. I plan to switch iMusician however I have some questions in my mind.

Bitrate and frequency values are good for me. I wish there was 24bit 192kHz support but not a big deal.

But I couldn’t see the maxiumum file size per track. Because some of the classical tracks might go up to 2 to 3 GB. Thanks to the nature of WAV files.

According to my past experiences, Rachmaninoff was set as “New Age” even he was a classical composer accepted all around the work. So my question is, will Rachmaninoff labeled as Classical or New Age?

I plan to upload vast majority of solo classical works by several composers, that’s why I am asking. Also if there is an option for uploading 192kHz, I am up for it. I believe everyone deserves to hear the purest sound of piano.

All the best!

Hello @HobbyistPianist

I tag the iMusician support to give you info about 192KHz and way to upload huge files @Carlos and @Melani

About the classification it is the musical platform that sometimes select it - this means it could be different from one or another

Hey @HobbyistPianist thanks for reaching out

  1. There is no option to upload 192 kHz. The maximum we accept is 96.
  2. Maximum size per audiofile is 1 GB.
  3. Rachmaninoff will have to be classified as “Classical”.
