Hi @MAYKI,
Don’t worry, this is actually a very common situation and it’s not a ‘strike’ against your channel, but a Copyright Claim.
Here is what is happening:
When you distribute your music through iMusician and activate YouTube Content ID, their system automatically scans YouTube to find your song. When it finds your video, it ‘claims’ it to ensure that the royalties are collected for you. This is why it says ‘propriety of IMUSICIAN’—they are acting as your distributor to protect your rights.
To fix this and monetize your own channel:
You need to Whitelist your YouTube channel through your iMusician dashboard. This tells the system: ‘This is my official channel, don’t claim these videos.’
Once whitelisted, future claims should stop, and you can dispute the current one by stating it’s your official channel.
It has nothing to do with your real name vs your nickname; it’s just the automated system doing its job!
Hope this helps you feel better about the situation! :rocket:

Hey @MAYKI, your channel was added to our allowlist. It should be effective on YouTube’s side in about 4-5 days
