Record release

Hi everyone

In my next record release that I ordered today (a single), I clearly indicated that the artist name is “Matteo Castellan” but in the summary email it says “Various Artists”. Why?

Here’s the release data, as received by email:

Hey @matteocastellan, that’s because on the artwork you’ve credited 4 other artist with the mention “with”, which is a main role. Whenever you credit more than 3 main artists on your release, it is automatically categorised as a compilation (=various artists).

Remember, on your artwork you should only mention the artist(s) name(s) and the release title. If these 4 other people are not artists, they must be removed from the artwork.

I’ve put the release on hold for now. Can you please specify how you want to proceed regarding the artists you’ve credited on the artwork?

I want to replace the cover with this one without the additional names, they are just session musicians not playing a main role, just executing my scores.

Hey @matteocastellan, the image must be minimum 3000 x 3000 pixels large. Can you share a version that matches these requirements?
