Regarding AI use

Hello @Carlos,

One of my artists use AI partially for one of his songs.

He distributed it through iMusician it passed the quality check and got delivered to the DSP.

I read that iMusician does not accept the use of ai so my question’s if we will have to meet some trouble for the royalties of this song or we need to make to takedown request and switch to another distributor that accept ai use.

The songs performing well regarding to the streaming stats we got in our Spotify for artists, so we have to make the right decision.

No that’s not true, we do accept AI-generated releases.

Although there are indeed very specific instances where our Quality Assurance team may reject such content, that’s not the case here as it was approved and delivered to the DSPs :slight_smile:

So since it go accepted, there’ll be no problem in the future for the release regarding royalties payout for this release ?

Whether or not your AI-generated music is eligible to generate some revenue depends on the DSPs own policies :slight_smile:
