Release „Befreit“ – Release date 23.09.2026 – still in review / not showing on Spotify Upcoming

Hello iMusician team,
my release „Befreit“ by FCBG Musical Choir is scheduled for 23 September 2026.

I was informed on 15 September that the release had been delivered to the stores. However, my iMusician dashboard currently still shows „In Prüfung“ / „In Review“, with the next step being „Genehmigt – Wird an die Shops gesendet“.

The release also does not appear in Spotify for Artists → Music → Upcoming.

Could you please check whether the release has actually been approved and delivered to Spotify and the other stores, and whether it has been assigned to the correct existing Spotify artist profile?

But the correct Spotify Artist is

Can you please confirm that our music was sent to this Artist?

And will it be released in time on 23rd of September This week?

Hey @FCBG-Musical-Choir,

No, since we don’t send music to artist profiles. We deliver it to the DSPs and then they take care of the mapping, based on their internal mapping systems. We’ve forwarded a note to Spotify to let them know that their current mapping is incorrect. Hopefully they’ll fix this in time for the release.
