Release in wrong ARTIST, and [Instrumental] not album name, and SPOTIFY missing

Hello,
I have release two albums recently, both from my band Synesthesia, unfortunately there is a lot of similar Artists
Here are 4 issues :

  1. Both releases aren’t on the right Artist on Deezer, Tidal, Apple Music, Youtube Music… Yet it’s ok on SPOTIFY… why is that ?
  2. The instrumental one is not on SPOTIFY, yet it is on the other plateforms. What’s happening here ?
  3. One release being the instrumental version of the other, how can I add ‘Instrumental’ in the album name (the only way to know it…) Otherwise, I’ll make a different cover for it…
  4. the description of the band in SPOTIFY do not match what it wrote on iMusician… There is no Artist page for the other plateforms; How can we correct this '???

Could you give all the links of your song, other artist and your artist page if any on every musical platforms, please ?

Hey @Synesthesia57,

  1. Each platform has different processes when it comes to uploading and assigning the music, so there’s no real way to explain this unfortunately. In order for us to fix this, we’ll need the following inks for Deezer, Tidal, Apple Music & YouTube Music:
  • the release
  • the wrong profile
  • the correct profile (if you don’t have one, “create a new profile”)

  1. Let me check with our team, I’ll get back to you once I have more info.

  2. You add this in the field “Version” (just like you did) but yes, ideally you should also include it on the artwork so your listeners can distinguish between the 2, otherwise it’s confusing.

  3. You can edit the bio by getting access to Spotify for Artists as explained here: Getting access to Spotify for Artists - Spotify

I’ve forwarded the requests, it’ll take between 2-6 weeks for your releases to be moved to new profiles across all the shops listed.

A little update on your release Worst Case Scenario (Instrumental), it was re-delivered to Spotify and it should go live within the next 3-4 days :+1:
