Releasing on Beatport

Hi!

Since when it is available the distribution to Beatport in iMusician? I mean, we released an EP some months ago, and it is not on Beatport. In order to have it there, do we need to make another release jsut for BeatPort?

Hey @MailandScope

Beatport has been in iMusician for a long time, you need to release on one of the genres that Beatport accept and ensure that it is selected in the shop selection. I’ll move this message over to the “ask a question” thread and get on of our support team involved

Hi @MailandScope ,

There could be a few reasons why your release doesn’t show up on Beatport. Can you send me the Barcode of your release so I can have a closer look?

Hi Leander,

I checked both releases and saw that they’re under the genre “Funk”.
At this time, Beatport only accepts releases with the genre Dance/Electronic. With this genre selected, you also then have the option of using our free “iM Electronica” Label which is automatically registered with Beatport.
