He informed me that it has generated approximately €4,300. However, I would like to verify the earnings, as I understand that Spotify pays around €0.00288 per stream, which should amount to much more than €4,000.

That’s not how Spotify monetization works unfortunately. Spotify doesn’t pay a flat fee per stream, they calculate your earnings based on your weight in their overall revenue pool. They explain this in details here: Loud & Clear

The problem is that I don’t have control over the platform since it is managed by an external administrator, so I can’t see the amounts I have generated and have to “trust” their word. Would there be any way to find out what I have generated if I provide you with the EAN code?
