I am new here and I am about to start migrating my music from Distrokid to iMusician. I have successfully uploaded all of my music to DistroKid over the years with a cover art size of 1400 x 1400, but when I tried to upload my first track Cover Artwork on iMusician nothing happened, no error message to help me. I am assuming its because the size should be 3000 x 3000. I have used a Free Online AI Upscaler called ILoveIMG Image Resizer and the image is now 3000 x 3000, the image looks the same but the files size is larger at 3316Kb.
My question is when migrating tracks (which I have never done before) I understand things have to be very exact for your tracks to be migrated successfully and end up in the streaming and shop platforms in the same place as you previous track. I this upscaling going to give me a problem? Can I use a different filename like trackname_3000x3000.jpg?
I could not find an answer to this question on this forum.
Hi @Andi , I have now tried uploading the rescaled picture, and the picture is now visible on the web page. With my original 1400 x 1400 image, it was not displayed, and no error message was given. I assumed it was a size issue. As it is now displayed, does that mean the image is okay, or just uploaded?
Regarding my migration question: I understand things have to be very exact for your tracks to be migrated successfully and end up in the streaming and shop platforms in the same place as your previous track. Is this upscaling going to give me a problem? I have used a different filename like trackname_3000x3000.jpg will this give me a migration problem?
