Merci beaucoup d’avance.
Cordialement,
Guillaume

hi @Guigz , did you ad it from your library? If you released it with your account there should be no problem. You just don’t have to upload it again. :v:

Hi Andi, thanks for your answer.

Yes, exactly. I added the song from my library on my account, then I imported the three others, and I didn’t have any problems until the payment step. However, a few days later, I received this message when I logged in. :

“We have noticed that your tracks are already available on streaming platforms. For legal reasons, it is not permitted to distribute the same tracks through multiple distributors simultaneously. Please confirm that the existing release has been or will be removed by your previous distributor no later than 5 business days after our release date. To do so, please click the “Submit” button below and enter a brief confirmation in the text box that appears, for example: “I confirm that the removal has been requested and will be completed by [date].” Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.”

What can I do to solve it ?
Thanks !

Guillaume

Ah, okie, now I understand. the songs have been released with an other distributor, in order to include them in a release with iMusician you first need to take them down from the other distributor - taking note of the ISRC Codes - and release them again with iMusician once the Takedown has been completed :v:

I don’t think you understood. I released a single three years ago with the same Imusician account but under a different artist name. Today, I am releasing an EP that includes the single from three years ago. It is the same Imusician account, just with a different artist name. The single from three years ago was indeed in my Imusician library so I added it to the release. I probably don’t need to remove the existing title from the platforms, based on what I understand.

Guillaume

that’s strange, indeed, let’s ask @Fabiola from the Team to check on this :v:

Hey @Guigz,

That’s most likely the issue. The main artist on track level (Guillaume Metz & Lucas Trautmann) doesn’t match the main artist on release level (Coussin Plume). Is that intentional?

Hello Carlos,
It is totally intentional. We changed our stage name, but it still refers to the same duo. We just want to include the single “Midsummer” in the EP under the old name so that we don’t have to request a takedown.
Is it possible ?
Thanks in advance

In terms of metadata coherency, I don’t think it makes a lot of sense to add a track by Guillaume Metz & Lucas Trautmann in Coussin Plume’s release, since they’re different artist names :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Yeah you’re right. In that case, is it possible to forget about Midsummer and only include the 3 new titles in this release?

Yes of course

I’ve removed the track and notified our team that they can go ahead with the delivery!
