Spotify artist profile not visible / Unable to claim Spotify for Artists access

Hi iMusician Team,

I’ve submitted my upcoming release “Hey Mam” (Release ID: 4069493290745) through your platform, with a digital release date of May 28, 2025.

I’m trying to claim access to Spotify for Artists to pitch the track to editorial playlists, but my artist profile “Nevio Tebaldi” is currently not visible on Spotify – I can’t find it via search or access any artist URI.

Could you please check if my artist profile has already been created by Spotify, or let me know when it will become visible? I want to make sure I can claim access and pitch the song in time.

That’s odd… I see that the release was delivered to Spotify on 02.05.2025 but they haven’t shared the URI with us since. Let me re-deliver the release to them, maybe that’ll fix the issue :thinking:

Nach etlichen Mails mit euch und dem Spotify-Support sowie viel investierter Zeit und einigen Nerven ist nun endlich klar, was das Problem war:

Mein Song „Hey Mam“ wurde ursprünglich nicht korrekt meinem Künstlerprofil zugeordnet.

Spotify hat die Zuordnung inzwischen korrigiert und mir folgende Info mitgegeben:

“We recommend letting your distributor know your correct artist URI is spotify:artist:23RReQl70amjEwNv9kK4tC. They can use this for any future releases to make sure this doesn’t happen again.”

Die bisher verwendete URI (spotify:artist:16ForivqUL9FVDfup1tFqJ) war also nicht korrekt.

Ich möchte euch daher bitten, diese URI künftig fest zu hinterlegen und mir kurz zu bestätigen, dass das so umgesetzt wird.

Sorry to hear that, but that’s Spotify’s mistake I’m afraid (they’re responsible for assigning your music to artist profiles). Also, I can confirm that Spotify will upload your release on this artist profile, at least that’s the info they’ve provided to us. It looks like they got a bit confused here.

PS: If you look up spotify:artist:23rreql70amjewnv9kk4tc on the Spotify search bar, you’ll see that there’s no result :point_down:

Thanks for your message. I understand that Spotify handles the profile assignment, but just to avoid future confusion, I kindly ask you to make sure that my official Artist URI – spotify:artist:23RReQl70amjEwNv9kK4tC – is saved and used for all upcoming releases.

I can now see the song and the countdown in Spotify for Artists, so it looks like everything is finally linked correctly.

Unfortunately, I don’t see any option in my dashboard to manually link the correct artist profile – and just to be clear, the mistake didn’t come from my side.
I’ve therefore contacted Marietta from support (support-de@imusician.pro) directly and asked her to manually assign the correct URI: spotify:artist:23RReQl70amjEwNv9kK4tC.

I really hope this can now be sorted properly. Thanks anyway for your support!
