I don’t understand why spotify keep changing my release title after years! This is not the first time, they keep removing (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) to my album, single or EP…

Hey @liamphanmusic Spotify is free to do pretty much what they want with the titles, unfortunately it’s not always super coherent and in line with the metadata we send them…
I’ve asked our team to see if it’s possible to correct that, I’ll get back to you in a bit once I have some news for you

Update: We’ve sent a request to Spotify so they update the titles, should be effective in the next 4-5 days!

Could you send me a more detailed workflow for managing the correct metadata? Perhaps I can explore how things are evolving in the field of music scoring ?

You can take a look at section 3.12. Soundtrack Version Information here to get an idea of Apple’s standard formatting practices for Soundtracks (applies to most other shops).
Unfortunately Spotify doesn’t have their own detailed style guide, so there’s not much resource available that relates to them specifically.
