Hello everyone,
Out of the blue, I discovered last month that I received a 10 € penalty from Spotify, because of so-called “artificial streamings” about one track, released in 2018.
It was the very first time I had to deal with such a non-sense and I never received any emails about that matter. Hence my absolute surprise and irritation.
I contacted Spotify and they told me to sort that with the distributor, which is… you = iMusician.
By the way, please, please, please, do not send me irrelevant articles about “artificial streaming” (I read those) because I did not use any artificial streamings (that goes without saying) nor did I listen to my proper songs all day (I have better things to do).
All I want (since I DID NOT order anything) is the penalty to be removed, which is the least you can do (and please, do not close this topic until it’s solved !). That would be lovely. By the way, Spotify needs to improve his “artificial streamings” detection system because it obviously has major flaws.
