Spotify pitch not selected in planned release

Hey guys,

i have just finished making my release. I have checked Spotify Pitching and I have chosen the specific release date. However, when I go to my Releases I see that Spotify Pitching is now Unchecked… can anyone help me understand, how the pitching works?

Hello @Megaobst

Usually you must select a date of the pitch and also you can add a note about your pitch. Sometimes when you select pitch toggle you must reselect the date.

Hey @Megaobst,

I see that you’ve cancelled this release. In any case, here’s how the Spotify Pitching works:

  1. When you create the order, you select “Spotify Pitching”;
  2. The release date calendar will automatically adjust and will only allow you to select dates from 14 days on. The reason behind is that Spotify requires the Pitching to be done before the release date, so your release must be delivered to Spotify at least 14 days before the releases date.
  3. Once the release is delivered to Spotify, you have until the release date to pitch it from your Spotify for Artists profile.

Hey my friend thanks for the reply! Yeah it was not selected so i canceled it. I created i a new release and made 100% spotify pitch is selected, but when i look at the release it is again NOT selectee :frowning:

And i got my money from the canceled first release not back :frowning:

And my releasy is now 9 days in quality check :frowning:

Can you guys help me pls?
