Spotify sales and streaming review request

I would like to request a review of the sales and streaming figures on Spotify. I have attached screenshots taken from Spotify Artist. The number of plays does not match the Imusician reports. The number of streams shown on Spotify Artist is significantly higher than the number shown in the Imusician sales reports. I would appreciate it if you could review your reports. Thank you.

:warning: You’re trying to compare two distinct sets of data here!

The trends you see on Spotify for Artists are a real-time overview of your music’s performance, before any verification is made by Spotify. On your iMusician dashboard, you can also see these numbers in the Analytics section but with a delay of 5 days.

The numbers you see in your sales reports are the streams that Spotify checked and approved for monetization, with a delay of 4 months. Not all your trends will necessary translate to sales (because Spotify will count-out/demonetize non-legitimate streams), therefore there is no comparison to be made between these two sets of data.

I understand that you’re disappointed all your trends did not translate to sales, but this is completely in line with Spotify’s monetisation policies. The numbers you see in your sales reports correspond to the final numbers that we received from them.

Thank you for your response. If it’s alright with you, I’ll contact Spotify Spain SL to find out why my trends didn’t translate into sales, considering that the average monthly sales for 2024-2025 were between €30 and €40.
